Healthy teeth and gums are the foundation for a bright smile! If you’re considering whitening those pearly [not as bright as they used to be] whites, then we have you covered!
All of the whitening products we use to brighten teeth contain hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. The oxygen molecules in these ingredients help break down stain on the outside of your teeth and penetrate into the enamel to remove deeper discolouration.
We choose Wicked White as our in office and take home brand of choice. You can learn more about this amazing Canadian company and their products by visiting their website!

We love this professional strength whitening product! Get results gradually by using the brush tip applicator to apply the professional strength gel to your teeth. Great for conservatively brightening or maintaining your new shade after an in office treatment.
This option is better suited for those who have brightened with a professional product before, if your starting shade is quite light or if you'd like to minimize stains.
Available in a light activated formula (to be used with the LED light activated kit) and non-light activated formula.
$25 for approx 15 applications

You may be a candidate for whitening if you have healthy teeth and gums, no crowns/veneers/fillings on front teeth (only natural teeth brighten), are over the age of 16 and are not pregnant or breast feeding. If you have heavy tartar built up or haven't seen a dental professional in a while, we may recommend a professional cleaning or a check up with a dentist prior to treatment!
Teeth that have had root canal treatments and those with intrinsic stain (tetracycline stain, decalcification, fluorosis) brighten unpredictably and can be more difficult to lighten! Not sure if you're a candidate? Click here to book a complimentary 30 minute consult.
Teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to brighten your smile when done under the supervision of a dental pro! Common side effects may include sensitivity to hot/cold and irritation to the gums. Both of these side effects are temporary and reversible. Professional whitening options involve applying the whitening gel to the outside of your teeth. Even though our products are stronger, many people experience more sensitivity with over the counter version (like the strips) which envelop all surfaces of the tooth.
Results from teeth whitening typically last a good long while! Because teeth naturally darken over time, we strongly recommend using a product at home a couple of times a month to maintain your new brighter shade.
We strive for a naturally bright smile here at the Studio. While results are expected, we cannot guarantee that you'll achieve a certain shade. Once we have a look at your teeth, we can give you a better idea of what you can expect. In our experience, the older teeth are, the more difficult they can be to brighten! Teeth that have intrinsic stain (stain that can't be polished off) and teeth that have root canals tend to whiten unpredictably.
In our experience, teeth whitening is rarely covered by dental insurance policies as it is considered to be a cosmetic procedure. If you plan has a flex spending account option, you may be able to submit your receipt on your own for reimbursement!
Because this is a professional product, we include a complimentary consult/hands on demo with the purchase of this product. To get a kit, you can schedule a visit to our clinic! You can also add this kit to a dental cleaning and save $20.
